Defensive Driver Training Program

This full day Road Safety and Defensive Driving program is designed to improve drivers: Attitude, Awareness & Techniques.

Duration:

7 Hours (approx.)

Locations:

(Nationally) we can find the most suitable venue to suit the training outcome

The Defensive Road Safety program runs for a full day at one of our training venues. The program combines interactive theory discussions in the classroom along with controlled driving activities related to common on road scenarios in the driver training area. This structure has proven successful in achieving positive changes in driver behaviour and skill.

Driving happens in the real world so it is important that the course structure reflects this, and participants are not subject to learning solely in a classroom or from a computer simulation. Positive interaction with experienced professional instructors makes participation enjoyable for everyone.

Specific training formats can be designed to meet your requirements. For example, your business may have an issue such as vehicle damage caused during slow vehicle car park manoeuvring within its fleet we can arrange a format with a focus to improve this. Also, some parts of this program may be delivered at your workplace to reduce ‘out of office’ time.

This full day Defensive Driving Course is part theory and part practical based
We’ll help you put techniques into practice with hands-on training and exercises in your own vehicle.
As well as developing safer driving skills, you will also learn more about your vehicle, essential maintenance and safety features. We’ll teach you how to save money on vehicle maintenance by reducing wear and tear on the road.
P Plate licence holders are welcome to attend this course.
